A conscientious member of the CIS family, Dr Chitkara renders her assiduous support to devise and facilitate various modes and methods of education for students. Her in-depth expertise includes the application of teaching framework, which entails unique processes such as inquiry, eliciting, presentation, controlled practice, free practice (the 3 P’s Pyramid) for comprehensive learning of the subject. She has also been able to identify and fill academic gaps of the students by working in close liaison with parents.
She is a resourceful SPOC (Sole Point of Contact) for grades 4 and 5. A competent mathematician, she guides students with innovative teaching-learning techniques that ensure practical and unvarying learning. She is an integral part of the team that conducts the EDUREFORM Handbook for Innovative Pedagogies and has co-authored the promising chapters like "Brainwork" and "Multi-perspective Teaching".
As the steadfast Housekeeping Coordinator at CIS, Ms Priyanka makes sure that the school premises are clean and adheres to the health & safety legislation for all the stakeholders. She also conducts workshops for the housekeeping staff to improve their housekeeping work, teamwork, situation & conflict management, professional communication and more.
A conscientious foreman at CIS, Mr Verma meticulously works to leverage the co-scholastic arena of the school through theme-based Annual Function and inter-house competitions. He also focuses on building the ERP and social media profiles to ensure online communication with the school community. With a Bachelor of Engineering rolled to his credit, he is an asset for the school’s development.
